Shark Food App
on Aug 18 in BRANDING, GRAPHICS, INTERACTIVE by melanieShark Food is an iPhone game I’ve been working on the past year with Blue Lobster Studios. It’s an intuitive touch-based game about a shark working his way back up the food chain after being turned into a helpless angelfish by a group of angry magical whales. There are over 25 challenging levels in over 5 oceanic zones. My role in the game was to create over 30 fully animated (swimming and eating) fish, game objects, items, and everything else that had to be moving on the screen. I also played a part in deciding the overall game direction, user interface, game play, and design. To create all the fish and objects, I used Illustrator and Photoshop. The look of the game was to mimic real life fish and surroundings, so I had to reference many of the fish designs directly from certain species of fishes. The game is available now at the iPhone app store, check it out!
